| November 19th The Council of Europe relased a new draft for a Convention on Cyber-Crime. Although changes have been made in order to take into account the protest from Digital Rights and other civil liberties groups, the convention still goes to far giving Law Enforcement Agencies surveillance and investigative powers that will threaten fundamental rights, such as the right to privacy and the right to a fair trail. |
